LUXBET REVIEW

LUXBET REVIEW

luxbet reviewLaunched in September 2008 by Tabcorp Holdings, Luxbet is an ASX 100 listed company. Tabcorp also owns and operates TAB Sportsbet. TAB Sportsbet is licensed in NSW and Victoria, while Luxbet is licensed in the Northern Territory.

Luxbet is one of the later entrants to online sports betting. For this reason it initially did, and still does, offer some generous sign up offers in an attempt to gain market share. Because it is not as established as its sibling bookmaker, Luxbet offers better value odds than TAB Sportsbet.

Many Australian online sports betting sites have similar layouts, but Luxbet.com is strikingly unique. The different sports and markets are displayed in an easy-to-digest menu at the top of the page and when a sport/market is clicked, another box drops down and all the betting options are displayed. If you then wish to go further and place a bet, a new page will open with more detailed options.

Considering its link to Tabcorp, it is not too surprising that the homepage also features handy ‘next to jump’ markets for all thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing bets. It is also the racing markets in which Luxbet excels and tends to focus their website on. Luxbet even has a feature called ‘ClubXtra’ which allowed owners and trainers in the horse racing industry a percentage bonus if they place winning bets on their own horses.

MOBILE APP:

In terms of mobile apps, Luxbet has kept up to standards of what other leading bookmakers are doing with their apps. Their mobile interface is easy to use, good on the eye and the site navigation is also fairly good.

There were some issues with it’s speed and sometimes the app would crash on certain mobile platforms, but recent upgrades appear to have fixed that and the app is up there in line with the rest of the betting field.

Accessing live markets, free bets and weekly specials and promotions are all also very easy with the Luxbet app.

BOTTOM LINE

When it comes to what you want and need from a bookmaker, Luxbet ticks most of the boxes.

They provide the reassurance of being backed by Tabcorp while the interface is feature rich with a concise odds display. Their desktop and mobile site navigation is relatively easy, and also has the upside of being customisable. The betting selection isn’t quite as deep as some of the biggest overseas-owned bookmakers, but it is more than adequate for most punters’ needs.

Luxbet also offers generous sign-up offers and ongoing promotions for punters which is always great.

BONUS BET/SIGN UP OFFERS:

Luxbet offers one of the largest betting bonuses in Australia – a $700 Deposit Match! Check through all the other sites and you will see that this is one of the best value bonuses available.

If you wish to take advantage of the full $700 in bonus bets, then new punters must sign-up to Luxbet.

Alternatively, you can have any smaller amount matched at 100%. Deposit $100 and receive a $100 bonus, deposit $50 and receive $50 bonus and so on!
